Twitter roundly criticizes Broncos’ new uniforms, Chiefs fans lead charge

The bad blood between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos isn’t limited to the teams’ regular-season meetings. It officially boiled over into the offseason after the Colorado-based franchise released pictures of their new uniforms on Monday.

Roundly criticized by fans on social media, the Broncos’ new uniforms were almost universally despised by everyone who saw the release on Twitter.

Change isn’t always popular but, in this case, the backlash against Denver’s new look may be enough to send Broncos brass back to the drawing board.

Chiefs fans were particularly harsh when they saw Denvers’ new threads and weren’t shy in telling the Broncos’ social media manager just how bad they thought the uniforms looked. From comparisons to uniforms on the television show Blue Mountain State to pointing out parallels with looks from college programs, few fans seemed to think the new look was worthy of the NFL stage.
