Peso Pluma has pushed back his upcoming Chase Center show by four days.

The concert, now scheduled for Aug. 31, is part of the Mexican musician’s Éxodo Tour, which supports his third studio album “Génesis.” He was initially scheduled to bring his act to San Francisco on Aug. 27.

There has been no official explanation for the postponement, but tickets purchased for the original date will be transferred to the new one, and those unable to attend the new date are eligible for a refund.

“Génesis” became the highest-ranked regional Mexican album ever, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 upon its release last June. Its accompanying Éxodo Tour is expected to have a reimagined set design and set list, differentiating it from his Double P Tour, which the singer brought to at SAP Center last year.

Peso Pluma has had an eventful year so far. He performed his horns-heavy hit “La Durango” on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, May 16, tapping Eslabon Armado’s Pedro Tovar to join the performance. In February, the 24-year-old took home his first Grammy for best música Mexicana album (including Tejano). The corridos singer also performed a high-energy set at Southern California’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, alongside special guests Becky G, Festival La Onda performer Junior H and more.
